Czech Phycological Society

The Czech Phycological Society organizes annually, usually in September, a conference for its members and other experts and students interested in algae and Cyanobacteria. Reserch results are usually presented, but very welcome are also other contributions such as discussions of reserch problems, presentations of preliminary results or introductions of new reserch projects and teams. Students in particular are strongly encouraged to present their thesis projects in the professional, but still friendly and relaxed athmosphere of this rather small meeting. In the last few years, colleagues from various countries have been attending our conference, in which case the official conference language is English. The 63. conference of the Czech Phycological Society was held in Prague.
